All it needed was another mine miracle

Today, on hearing the news of the 29 people who are believed to be dead after a second bomb blast in the New Zealand mine, really got me thinking, if only there could have been another miracle, just like the Chilean rescue mission.

There are certain elements in life that we just can’t avoid, we can try our best to avoid them, to change a situation but inevitably after doing all you can, you know that you are in power of that situation and how to handle it. For all those on the rescue team in New Zealand, it wasn’t that they weren’t brave enough or courageous enough, it was merely that danger rose its head to such an extent that going in there would have only caused more harm than good – especially given that the second mine blast happened as predicted.

So as sad as it is, may all 29 miners rest in peace, and for those family and friends of those people – life is harsh at the moment, and as easy as it is to say, I KNOW that time will turn this open wound into a closed one and then into a scar. That scar will be a reminder of the adoring human being that person was during their time on Earth.

May peace exist in the world, through us.

Om Shanthi, Shanthi,Shanthi. (Prayer for peace)

Over and out.

Aww thanks tommo39, no problems, I don’t believe that any problem that happens somewhere else is somehow any less important that what happens in our country. It’s good that the News broadcasts, it makes the world a little less self-involved!
